Keno is a type of lottery similar to state lotteries common throughout North America. Twenty balls are drawn per game from the eighty balls available in Keno. A wager is placed betting that the numbers marked will be drawn. The concept is very simple. There is a large Keno board with numbers from one (1) to eighty (80) Augustus Caesar held the first recorded public lottery; his purpose was to raise funds to beautify the city of Rome.
